Classic Rock Cruise In Car Show

The Classic Rock Cruise In Car Show is organized and produced by a partnership of the Vintage Car Club and the Castle Rock Downtown Merchants Association and features over 300 of the finest 1999 and older hot rods, street rods, customs, classics, vintage, muscle cars and trucks.

Due to the popularity of the car show and limited space in downtown Castle Rock, the Vintage Car Club has implemented a rolling 25 year eligibility for vehicles to enter the 2024 Cruise In Car Show.  This means that any car or truck made on or before the 1999 model year are welcome to participate.  Each year thereafter, a new model year becomes eligible, meaning that in 2025, any car or truck made on or before the 2000 model year will be welcome; in 2026, any car or truck made on or before the 2001 model year will be welcome, and so on.

If you have a newer model car or truck that is not eligible for the Cruise In Car Show, check out the Hot Rods in the Village Car Show that is held in August each year.  This car show is hosted by the Vintage Car Club and welcomes all make and model year cars and trucks.

Every summer in June on the Saturday before Father’s Day, the Vintage Car Club transforms historic downtown Castle Rock into a showplace for all kinds of cool cars, trucks and specialty vehicles.  The main streets are closed for the day so that over 300 cars and trucks can be displayed by their proud owners and admired by thousands of spectators.  The Classic Rock Cruise In Car Show is free to spectators and has something for everyone – show cars, shops, live bands, restaurant’s, free kid activities, Festival Park, specialty vendor booths, and lots of shade.  We present over 60 trophies to registered participants in 24 categories, including Survivor Award, Longest Distance Traveled, Mayor’s Choice, Hottest Car (picked by the Fire Chief), Most Likely to Get Pulled Over (picked by the Police Chief), and Best of Show.  It’s a fun, friendly show in a beautiful small town setting.

If you are planning to register a car for the show, it’s important that you know the car show normally sells out well in advance of the car show date so recommend you register your car as early as possible after opening of online registration to avoid disappointment.

The car show entry fees collected goes to providing donations to local charities and scholarships to deserving college-bound students pursuing a degree or certification in the automotive industry.  Donations to designated charities and student scholarships will be announced during the car show award presentations.
